With its ECOHEMP range, Cordial is working for the environment by forgoing the use of PVC!

The alternative is called TPE-V, an alloy of soft/elastic components and others that are harder, which makes it possible to obtain a cable that is just as flexible:

 

- Rubber-like properties ensure elasticity, flexibility and easy winding.

 

- The hard components ensure recyclability, resistance to cuts and use compatible with high temperatures.

 

- Fabric sheath made from 100% natural, renewable and 100% recyclable hemp fibers.

 

- Low energy consumption production process.

With ECOHEMP, musicians can now actively contribute to improving environmental and living conditions in difficult regions of the world particularly affected by natural disasters and mismanagement. For every ECOHEMP product sold, a tree will be planted.

Of course, the ECOHEMP cable meets all the criteria of a high-quality Cordial product:

 

- The 0.50 mm² conductor cross-section (AWG 21 / conductor resistance < 39 Ω/km) is twice that of conventional fabric-sheathed cables. This ensures distortion-free signal transmission and crystal-clear sound.

 

- A double shielding consisting of a braid and a carbon semiconductor minimizes external interference (such as the effects of microphonics).

The 6.35 mm jack plugs are manufactured by NEUTRIK®. Their distinctive retro style evokes the charm of patina on metal parts.

With ECOHEMP, musicians can now actively contribute to improving difficult environmental and living conditions in regions of the world particularly affected by natural disasters and mismanagement. For every ECOHEMP product sold, a tree will be planted. 

To achieve this, Cordial collaborates with the world-renowned non-profit organization Trees for the Future (TREES). Based on concepts proven over decades, the company successfully carries out reforestation projects in severely damaged and degraded areas and aims to reduce poverty among the people who live there.

In 2015, the company surpassed its goal of planting 100 million trees worldwide.
By 2030, the goal is to plant 1 billion trees worldwide. The reforestation projects are taking place in sub-Saharan Africa.
