Description
During the development of the new sheath material for the ECOCORD cable, Cordial completely abandoned PVC. The alternative is called TPE-V, a blend of soft/elastic and firmer components, resulting in a cable that is just as flexible.
The ECOCORD range has properties similar to those of rubber to ensure elasticity, flexibility, and easy winding. Specific components guarantee recyclability and tear resistance.
For every ECOCORD cable sold, a tree will be planted by the non-profit organization Trees for the Future (TREES), to offset the components such as copper used.
ECOCORD cables feature double shielding in copper braid and conductive plastic (to minimize microphonic effects) as well as a conductor cross-section of 0.50 mm² (conductor resistance < 39 Ω/km), which guarantees particularly clear signal transmission.
Silent plug to avoid any annoying crackling when plugging and unplugging an instrument and plug with a "Shabby Chic" design, with a retro style reminiscent of the charm of patina on metal parts.

The ECOCORD PP-SILENT's jack and silentPLUG® plug are both manufactured by NEUTRIK®. Their distinctive retro style evokes the charm of patina on metal parts.
The silentPLUG® plug effectively prevents any annoying buzzing when plugging and unplugging an instrument.
