Ashdown Avant
The Ashdown Saint Avant series is a modern range of multi-scale basses designed for precision, clarity and versatile performance, available in both 4 and 5-string configurations. Built around a fan fret design, each instrument optimises string tension and balance across the fretboard, delivering tight, controlled low-end response while maintaining smooth playability and articulation in the higher register.
A roasted maple neck and fretboard provide enhanced stability, durability and a fast, responsive playing feel, complemented by distinctive hex dot markers for clear navigation. At the heart of the Avant series is a powerful 3-way pickup system, offering a wide tonal range of deep, defined lows to punchy mids and crisp, articulate highs. Whether laying down solid grooves, cutting through a mix or exploring more progressive playing styles, the Avant series delivers consistent clarity and control.
Available in a choice of striking finishes, the Saint Avant basses combine modern aesthetics with high-performance capability, making them equally suited to stage, studio, and rehearsal environments.
Ashdown Artisan
The Ashdown Saint Artisan Flame series combines striking visual design with refined performance, available in a range of distinctive maple finishes including Verdigris Green, Aegean Blue, Obsidian Black, Cardinal Red, and Amethyst Purple. Each model showcases the natural figuring of the flame maple top, delivering a bold yet sophisticated aesthetic that stands out on any stage while staying true to Ashdown's design identity.
Built as part of the Artisan Saint Series, every instrument features a roasted maple neck and fretboard for enhanced stability, surability, and a smooth, fast playing feel. The familiar 34" scale length ensures balanced tension and comfort, while black block position markers add a timeless visual touch.
Equipped with a versatile PJ pickup configuration, the Saint Artisan Flame series delivers a wide tonal range, from deep, punchy lows to clear, articulate highs.
